Yeah that must be him coz my mate said he used to play for man city. Is this fella any good? Would Newry be looking for a fee?

Excited by a signing from Newry! Your mate needs more fun in his life.
OK, Newry City's recent exploits are not going to set the world on fire; but in fairness to Karl Bermingham he set Newry City on fire in the few games he played for them. He may have been the proverbial 'big fish' but he certainly stood out and I would be keen to see him play for an eL side.
Well I played against him when he was younger and he was quality. As well as Shels, I'm also a City fan and unfortunately he was never going to make the cut with us. Had a loan spell and that but was released when his contract expired. Haven't seen him play recently though.
Derry offer Harrison, Bermingham trials
January 25, 2007
Derry City manager Pat Fenlon has taken goalkeeper Ryan Harrison and former Republic of Ireland youth international striker Karl Bermingham on trial at the Brandywell.
Harrison, 20, is currently plying his grade with Forest Green Rovers in the English Conference and has had spells with Swansea City and Wrexham.
Bermingham, meanwhile, played for Newry City in the Carnegie Premier League last season after a four-year stay at Manchester City came to an end.
The striker, who turned 21 in October, has made six English League appearances from loan spells at Lincoln City and Burnley in the 2004/05 season.
He has a history of playing for massive City clubs so it should suit him.
