was suppose to be p foley but it wasn't him, i seem this ref before but don't know his name to be honest
Do you know the ref 's name?. Jimmy Blake did the Man V S&F match I thought he was fair enough in a 'jimmyblake' sort of way. I think he has improved considerably although still likes the spotlight too much !!

i looking up from the bottom of the pile!
Jimmy Blake refereed the Manulla game quiet well. He made a bad decision for the peno but he turned down a more obvious one in the first half. Manulla were by far the better team and i wouldnt say they roobed S&F. S&F were lucky to be level at half time. Celtic seem to be struggling although this result might get them started. Westport look strong. Ballyheane and Ballina going well. Well done to Snugboro they should stay up.Originally Posted by mossy
I am glad to see that the impartial reporter at the match last Sat. agrees that S&F were unlucky. Check West. Pep. for confirmation of same.
Any News re Carew - the Port anyone.
Match fixed for May 29th in Jackman Park Limerick.Originally Posted by mossy

Can anyone see any upsets in the cup this weekend?
This forum needs a little more activity.
Maybe our Snugboro rep could post info regarding same on the Connaught Tele. or indeed the Don our man in the Heane. Some people would like to give their tupence worth, anybody from Celtic out there or even Manulla - (perhaps to embarressed by recent events.) surely there is some 'head' in B/Glass or Ballina and why not Erris United - The only Mayo team with a national title (but not Mayo club of the Year by the way !!). It needs advertising now maybe a journo might highlight these views. Here's hoping

the website got some pr during the Carew Westport saga when some of the messages were put in a piece in the Mayo News. As regards the weekend don't rule out Westport United B causing an upset away to Manulla but no other huge surprises jump out. Ballyglass might beat Swinford but realistically they are on a close enough level
lads,
Ballyglass will beat Swinford in this round i think don't think there will be any other surprises!
swinford and glenhest will be relegated from the super league this year too!
There are a few potential banana skins in this round. The boro have a tricky away tie down in Achill, they lost down there last year. Its not the place for Snugboro to play there unique brand of free flowing, pass and move soccer . Glenhest as well, that pitch in Louisbourg is possibly the windiest place on the planet. My heart goes out to the lads from Partry. May god have mercy on their souls!
Lads,
only 17 teams left in the cup and the only major shock was glenhest losing to clew bay utd. well done to clew bay on this!
The big match next week is westport game and wished them all the best.
Why no super league matches this weekend?
U-21 cup game Tuesday night. Doesnt make a lot of sense to me.
Derry City playing friday night in the eircom league so league cup match on tuesday
Fair enough. But that doesnt expalin why super league fixtures can not be played on sat or sun. If this is the case for all U-21 games the league will be over around november !
The Don
yes this is very true as well - its a tough one to call alright
Also the GAA club championship starting this weekend but some how don't think the matches were cancel for that
