Think 2,791 sounds more realistic, as they had 3,019 at the Bohs game, so it's nearer.Originally Posted by Poor Student
Does the RSC hold that many?!Originally Posted by Partizan

more like 2500 at absolute most, with at least a third of the crowd being city fansOriginally Posted by Partizan
Are you sure? Pats had half the stand, all of the shed and most of the carmac I thought. Rovers had a good crowd alright who made a decent bit of noise.Originally Posted by Colie
I'd say about 2300 max at Waterford United v Cork City last night.
yeah, that sound more realistic alrightOriginally Posted by trevy
1,800 was the guesstimate for the crowd at Drogheda v Shels given in the live updates.
report that 600 supporters (approx)were tortured at the Galway United vs Monaghan United game in Terryland Park last night.
Yeah! What in the invisible stand?! How could it possibly hold 8,500 ppl?!!!Originally Posted by Partizan
The crowd at Bohs and Longford was 1426, our worst of the season.
1997 Cup semi against Shels, highest attendance recorded at the venue, just under the figure I gave you.Originally Posted by Buller
Considering the early kickoff, even the lower of those figures would be fair going, but I'd say 3791 is the right one. Rovers looked absolutely rammed into their end of the stand, talking to a Hooped mate afterwards he said it was downright dangerous.Originally Posted by Poor Student

Your completely right, one of my mates got seriously hurt, there was way to many ppl in that end of the stand, bloody dangerous... the sooner u's get that new stand the better! was the pats end of the stand as squashed?!Originally Posted by Dr.Nightdub
I sat in the middle just behind Roddy's dug out and there was still the very odd empty seat. No crushing for sure. Dunno about the rest of the stand towards the Shed. I did notice as I was coming in people standing at the back of the Rovers end and it looking awfully uncomfortable. Surely the Stand has so many seats and therefore only so many tickets? How many seats are there?Originally Posted by Buller
The stand has around 2,000 seats in it i think... half was for rovers so thats 1,000 seats for each set of fans... thats not enough... 2791 people were at the game!!!

The stand only has seating for 1800. At a guess I'd say there was at least 300 more than that in it last night

The official attendance at the game was 2,791.
there was 948 at the Limerick Jimmy O'Neill sorry Cobh game on Friday night!
There was defo more than that. Probably our best crowd of the season so far. About 2,500 I'd say. Also biggest Shels crowd seen in United Park for some time. There was no gaps in the away terrace, usually there are with ShelsOriginally Posted by Slash/ED
