    Junior Football Awards 2005

    Who would you like to nominate for these particular categories?

    Player of the Year

    Young Player of the Year

    Club of the Year

    Goal of the Year

    Keeper of the Year

    Defender of the Year

    Midfielder of the Year

    Striker of the Year

    Manager of the Year

    Supporters of the Year

    Best Chant of the Year

    Keeper of the Year: Derek Hearne

    Defender of the Year: Carey

    Midfielder of the Year: Danny Scahill

    Striker of the Year: Martin O'Neill

    Supporters of the Year: Westport United. Heard an awful lot about them.

    Villain of the Year: Denis Cruise over the Carew Park/Westport United saga.

    Hero(es) of the Year: The Waterford Oscar Traynor Cup player that has no hearing.

    Total Donkey of the Year: Ciaran Kelly for that mistake against Donegal in the Oscar Traynor Cup

    Most Disappointing Performer of the Year: Not going for an individual, but as a club it got to be Fairview Rangers.

    Most Improved Team of the Year: Corrib Rangers

    I honestly thought he was a defender. Apologies then and his nomination withdrawn. One of the Carew centre halves though would be my pick for defender of the year, just give me a name on him. I thought it was Maher.

    Heard an awful lot about them????????? You spend half your life with them!!! It's fair enough giving your team your backing but at least dont pretend you have nothing to do with them!!! By the way, never heard from you since your prediction of "Bones will crumble to dust" between Fahy and Mervue. We were within one goal until the last five minutes. Westport went out on the same day. You should try and give a little support to local teams rather then predict their ignominius downfall. Inaccurately.
