If you know where Oily came up with the 300K and don't want to tell us, fine...but if that was Rovers and my club managed to stump up that amount of cash within one go I would like to know how they got hold of it.Originally Posted by higgins
You're pushing the limits on debtor managment and unless that changes you will be screwed eventually.Originally Posted by higgins

Ireland: Discovered!
If I was a Shels fan i'd be very concerned as its likely that Shels maybe getting loans to pay for current expenditure based on collateral of their interest in Tolka. By the time Tolka sold Shels could be homeless (no sign Bohs going to groundshare anytime soon) & with no significant net cash from Tolka in Ollies back pocket...
Ollies only plan seems to be hoping for CL group stages but thats quiet a gamble. What odds would the bookies give on Shels in the CL group stages in 3-5 years?
Don't think they'll get to Cl prelims tbh. Think they've missed that boat... Hopefully shels will move to tallaght and die
54,321 sold - wws will never die - ***

Considering shels just paid 300K to the Revenue your post is nonsense!! Easily the worst post in this whole thread.and shels appear to be in the dont column, and there fans havent a care in the world about it
Can you tell me how it appears we cant pay off debts?
Are you trying to be difficult or are you just Intellectually Challenged

There is no evidence to suggest Shels have no just transferred one debt for another... If ollie couldn't pay 12k repayment do you really believe he just paid over 300k of his own cash or others to the tax man? Granted there is no evidence either way but looks like he just got a loan from a bank...Originally Posted by higgins
ill take the aggressiveness of your reply to point to the fact you also smell a rodent, but are too much of a twát to admit that criticism of the way your club has been run is probably accurate and relevent. the likes of you are more dangerous to the long term future of shels than the taxman.Originally Posted by higgins
I'll put this is a way that some people may understand. QUESTION: Who is the one person who stands to lose out if Shels didn't pay the taxman and Tolka ended up going for auction? Work it out and you then will realise who gave Ollie the loanOriginally Posted by pete
Put it this way, if a person was guaranteed to buy Tolka so long as there are no problems , would it not be feasible to think that this person would loan Ollie the money to ensure he had no competition through auction?
What's the prize money for winning the Setanta Cup? Would it be 150k Euro?
Cause if Shels win it I'd say it will go towards that loan everyone says they took out to pay the tax man. And with half of it paid up front only a matter of weeks after being taken out, the repayments and interest come down considerably.
Indeed, well said. Now we just have to look like playing as if we care...Originally Posted by CollegeTillIDie

30k for taking part. Another bit for reaching semi's, I think. And CL moola to come. Could be worse!

No way of knowing though is there?

Shels will get 20k euro for the Setanta Cup minus any fines.
They also now get some cash for staging the final in Tolka.
