Being facetious there. I get your frustration with this guy. I'm not surprised he was given another international window to figure it all out but I'm disappointed he took another window. One more would really annoy me. He had the benefit of the doubt in my book but he's not Grealish level prodigy to be taking such time. Diagnosed with a stress fracture in his back when he transferred to Leicester City. Leicester boss Maresca commented a week ago: "It will be quite a long time. It’s very similar to Dennis Praet’s injury. It’s a stress fracture in his back. But we still don’t know how long. He didn’t train any sessions with us.”
The Leicester Mercury yesterday gave a possible return date of 25 November for Praet, who was also diagnosed at the start of September, but Cannon's return is "unknown". Unfortunate for the lad, his club and Ireland.
