    Your Firefox Add-ons

Go on then, what gems have you that we haven't heard of yet? Here's my lot, with the ones disabled until I need them in italics.

    • Adblock Plus - Should be obvious. I disable in on sites I support. And so should you, on Foot.ie!
    • Add Bookmark Here 2 - Bookmark directly into a folder.
    • Download Statusbar - Downloads in the statusbar rather than Downloads Window, for easy access.
    • DownThemAll! - For downloading sets of files.
    • FireFTP - In-browser FTP client.
    • FireShot - For taking screenshots.
    • IE Tab - Load tabs in Internet Explorer, or send links to IE. Useless Irish banks.
    • Iterasi - For archiving web pages.
    • Menu Editor - New to my collection, what it says on the tin.
    • Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.0 - Can't uninstall it. Typical MS.
    • Mouse Gestures Redox - As on the tin.
    • Nightly Tester Tools - I use this fella to load deprecated Add-ons. Must check I still need it!
    • Paste and Go 2 - Adds "Paste and Go" to the context menu of the Address and Search boxes.
    • Property Bee - Monitor properties on Daft.ie.
    • Tab Mix Plus - Tweak the hell out of your tabs.
    • Uppity - Lets you pop up a folder in the website tree.
    • Web Developer - For, like, web development dude.
    • Xmarks - Bookmarks synchroniser.

interclue lets you preview a page without it uploading, quite useful.

Cooliris is, well, cool, just got it the other day. Others that I can remember offhand (I'm not on my own laptop now) would be Adblock Plus, Downloadhelper (actually never really use it, but it let's you download directly form sites like youtube), Dictionary/Spellcheck, and a few others I can't think of.

haven't access to it now but I've a google search preview add on. I'm pretty visual so when searching for a page I've viewed before I like tosee the colour scheme etc

Works by adding a little thumbnail of the page beside the search result in google.

I've a couple of those download flash video things too

Ad-block Plus - Ads were yesterday! (apparently)
Cooliris - Just discovered this, although it has a nasty habit of crashing my laptop from time to time.
    Downloadhelper - to help downloads
Fast dial - assign certain sites to keypresses (e.g Alt + G - straight to gmail)
Firebug - for development. Handy if you do a lot of work in JSP, which I used to
HttpFox - analyses all incoming and outgoing HTTP traffic. Handy for checking headers, cookies, etc
Mouse Gestures Redox - Opera had them first though
    NewsFox - RSS Reader
Tab Mix Plus - Because the default tabs and sessions aren't as good
XPather - XPath generator, editor and inspector

I've tried Cooliris a couple of times now, the first time it was buggy as hell, and this time I couldn't use it because my photos are all on a network drive and I can't browse to it. So it's bye-bye again to that.

Also use the Download Statusbar & used to have Dictionary - handy for posting here

Check out daftmonkey for that as well - http://chofter.com/apps/ - rewrites the search functionality on daft.ie
I know the guy that wrote it, it's pretty impressive stuff.

Not a fan of Greasemonkey so I wouldn't install that, but the guy has a point. The guys in Daft have concentrated solely on raking in the cash since they rolled the site out, it's dire. A monkey could develop something like that these days. George Bush even.

Chrome View: Allows to view the page in Google Chrome
IE Tab: Can view a IE page in Firefox
Kallout: Highlight Text, right click and you can search for it on google, facebook etc.

Just added this yesterday and firefox appears to running faster! Weird to say the least.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.
