    todays star

see today that mark o brien will make a decision later this week. drogs, shams and ourselves are linked with him.

we are also linked with a six feet striker that used to play with villa and was with dublin city last season. both ourselves and pats are after him and he wont make up his mind until he talks to alan matthews.

anyone else hear about the link with peter hynes(ex dublin city)?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Rovers fans have O'Brien signing for us so we'll see..Hadn't heard anything about this Hynes chap, with Myler coming (90% anyway) I'd be surprised if we signed another striker

With the fact that he already plays for shams, I cant see him being linked with Shams

He said it was Peter Hynes. Pretty good player, very strong and good in the air.

More importantly, does he actually score goals?

Did a bit of googling myself..he seems to have scored a few for Villa's youths and reserves and was reasonably highly thought of at one stage..Dublin City fans could probably tell us more about what he's like..
