Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

DO NOT buy the ITrip ! waste of money, sound quality is very poor when you driving around the larger citys, as radio station signal really make the sound quality very poor. If you want to hook you iPod up in you car, buy this, soudn quality is absolutey perfect and is only about €40 to get installed.

imo the ipod is the standard barer and is the quality portable music jukebox going.. but hey thats just me and say the other 70 odd% of that market!

check out the new ipod shuffle for example
€99 for something the size of a pack of gum and as light as 3 euro coins..

market share just means their advertising dept are better which they are.
for a company that holds 99% of advertising why only 70% of market.
30% of people have enough sense to shop around and decide for themselfs whats best not just go for what ever ronan keating or some 'celeb' is advertising this week.
    ishuffle no screen.
all the problems with ipod have been rectified by other manufactures like iriver and creative.

    iriver

Wouldnt be seen dead holding an iriver . Just an awful lookin black box recorder. my ipod is just beautiful.

Comparing the ipod and iriver is like comparing women from say whelans and the village and women form Club 92. You'll let on you really like the girl you met in whelans cos she's sound and you both like the same music blah blah blah. But deep deep down what you really want is that stunner from Foxrock who walks around the 92 like she owns the place, which she prob does.

the ipod is all show no depth just like wans from the 92.
looks good on the outside but ders not much goin on inside.
the iriver is alot less hassle to handle, doesn't attract skobies in burbury caps like the ipod and when u get down to the nitty gritty IE one on one with it it does things that the ipod couldn't even comprehend.
not to mention stamina it goes for about twice as long as the ipod which needs its beauty sleep every couple of hours.
da ipod is like a wan caked in make up, looks good at first but the more u see the less u wanna see.
the iriver on the otherhand is a classic beauty that looks ok at first but gets better every time u look at it.
if i could marry my iriver i would and btw it wouldn't require trips to an american clinic in silicon valley every couple of years to keep it in tip top shape like the ipod does
