ya saw bits of bit,saw when he went to The Brandywell.
anyone see this on bbc (England) last night? it was on the glaswegian actor that was in Doctor Who, he traced his roots back to derry. It sorta went away from his roots and more on the sectarian divide in derry and northern ireland as a whole, it was a very interesting piece I have to say. He was handed a sash, and his uncle who handed it to him was rather proud to pass it on, yet he said he always saw the sash as a sign of aggression and would distance himself from it. thought it was a very fair and somewhat insightful show.
anyone else watch it?

there was more than just going to the brandywell in it, though that was good too.

yeah I stumbled accross it and got sucked into it. was very interesting even if the narrator kept calling it Londonderry which was doin my head in....
What was the deal with his grand-dad? When did he play for Derry?
