Sometimes you don't know a good thing until it's gone......!

Was chatting to some Bohs fans in the pub before the game and to listen to them ( in comparrison to some "City" fans of late ) you would think they were on one of these "Sky" weekend trips to Anfield or Boring Trafford! They couldn't wait to get to the ground.

They could not speak highly enough about us. The reason they had travelled down on a Friday night was because of what they had heard about The Cross this year i.e. Big Game atmosphere, great games, the challenge of taking City's unbeaten home record away from us, biggest crowds in the League ( yet again ) - basically what the LoI is all about but sadly lacking in most of the Dublin venues.

I met them afterwards and they were on an absolute high and said their only regret is that Bohs weren't playing City away twice this year instead of at home.

It was their first trip to the Cross and said it was no wonder we play so well at home with a pitch like that.

They consider us a real threat - much more so than any of the other teams and after last nights fighting performance reckon it will go down to the wire.

Yeah, i met a group of Bohs fans in town last night. They were very impressed with the atmosphere and were delighted to see such a big crowd, they also said that it was the best pitch they had seen this season. Some of them are down until sunday, it looks like they're really taken with the peoples republic.
They taught us all their anti- rovers songs most of which ive forgotten but they going to email them down.

Its great to see a group of dubs so impressed with ccfc.

oh yeah they were also thought Murray was a great player.

Supporters of dublin teams would not travel in the same numbers if they had to travel to away games every forthnight - one reason they make such an effort is cos its they don't have to travel very far that often...
