    u21 manager resigns

    Just read on Echo that Mossy Mahony resigned as manager of u21`s

    anyone know why?

    He had disagreements with Hendo over senior playes being sent to play with the U21's. He didn't want any senior players to play Hendo did. He didn't like the amount of input Hendo had aswell.

    Think that was a bit naive out of him..surely the u21 team is there to supply players to the senior team when needed and also where senior players can get a match under their belts when coming back from injury or suspension....if they win something all the better....

    just read the echo, best of luck to darragh seems like a nice guy, good to see some more local talent being given a chance. gone on geary and mccarthy, hope you become a cult hero like your namesake brian. the futures bright lads, i have to say that i am impressed by the italian coach ,you see him at senior games and the players listen to him his ideas are good and will hopefully help to develop us further

    they seem to have got the coaching side of things right ok....its certainly paying off for the senior team....Heard this McCarthy lad has a great future ahead of him..
